Introducing Session Mode: Street-by-Street Hand Analysis

We're excited to announce Session Mode—a new way to analyze poker hands that mirrors how you actually play them: one street at a time.

Instead of entering an entire hand at once, Session Mode lets you build the hand progressively, street by street, with two distinct approaches designed for different scenarios.

Two Modes for Different Goals

Guided Session (Default)

Perfect for post-session study and hand review. As you enter cards for each street, you'll see strategic analysis immediately—before recording your decision.

Best for:

Training and skill development
Reviewing saved hands from past sessions
Exploring alternative lines and "what if" scenarios
Building intuition through deliberate practice

How it works:

Enter hero cards → See immediate analysis
Record your decision (fold/call/raise/check)
Advance to next street → Process repeats
Review complete hand with full strategic context

Live Session (Blind Mode)

Designed for active play tracking. Record your decisions during real hands with zero strategic guidance shown during the hand. After the session ends, review every hand with full analysis comparing your actual decisions against optimal play.

Building your decision profile from real hands with real stakes
Post-session performance review

How it works:

Enter cards street by street as the hand progresses
Record decisions at each street (no analysis shown)
Complete the hand using only your own judgment
After session: batch analysis reveals strategic assessment for every street

Why Live Session is Blind

Live Session intentionally shows zero guidance during the hand. We believe the real value is in learning from actual decisions made under pressure—not getting coached mid-hand.

This approach:

Keeps gameplay authentic (your decisions, your judgment)
Avoids any controversy around real-time assistance
Produces the most valuable learning data (decisions with real consequences)
Works perfectly for post-session review and pattern analysis

The strategic insights come after, when you can see patterns across multiple hands and understand where your intuition aligns with (or diverges from) strategic baselines.

Session Mode is available now for Pro, Elite, and Elite++ members.

Each street analysis (in Guided mode) or batch analysis (in Live mode) counts against your monthly analysis quota just like Quick Analysis.
